Jim founded ProEventa, Inc.™ as an opportunity to bring the intellectual property and best practices developed at Grafton Integrated Health Network (Grafton) to organizations across the world. Jim has served as the CEO of Grafton, ProEventa™'s parent company for the past 14 years. Prior to his Grafton appointment, Jim was the CEO of North Pointe Behavioral Healthcare Systems in Michigan and later served as the CEO of Unity, Inc., the largest not-for-profit behavioral healthcare provider in Oregon. He led the successful turnaround initiative of Portland, Oregon’s $80M publicly funded mental health system as the County’s Director of System Redesign.
A two time Negley Award winner, Jim has served on the Board of Directors of Mental Health Corporations of America (MHCA), it’s executive committee, and chaired it’s Futures Forum and it’s Health Care Reform advisory committee. He has presented and consulted extensively and internationally on best practice and leadership development.
Jim attended Ohio State University and the University of Toledo where he completed a dual major doctoral track in Clinical and Educational Psychology. He also completed his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and his Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology.
Dr. Elliott Wilson has over 20 years of experience across developmental, health, social, and clinical psychology sectors. She earned her PhD from State University of New York at Stony Brook in Social and Health Psychology and received postdoctoral training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Center for Developmental Science. She has held positions in both academia and industry focused on designing and measuring outcomes using cutting-edge technology. For the past seven years, her work on outcomes has focused almost exclusively on behavioral and integrated health. As President of ProEventa, Inc.™, she is dedicated to helping ProEventa, Inc.™ realize its mission of providing software and services to organizations to help them achieve value by illustrating quality outcomes and reduced costs, with an emphasis on person-centered and organizational goal mastery.
Dr. Lisa Marshall is a licensed clinical psychologist who has extensive experience providing direct services, supervision, and training in the fields of child and family mental health, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and deafness. She has worked with individuals in a variety of contexts, including acute psychiatric, residential and day treatment, outpatient services, community-based programs, and schools. Dr. Marshall is currently the Vice President of Implementation and Client Engagement at ProEventa, Inc.™ Prior to her position at ProEventa, Inc.™, Dr. Marshall worked in a variety of clinical and administrative positions at Grafton Integrated Health Network and was one of the founding developers of the Grafton Goal Mastery process. Most recently at Grafton, she was the Director, Research and Outcomes and was the lead contributor for content and design for the prototype development of the REBOOT™ software.
Prior to her employment at Grafton, Dr. Marshall was a faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry at Virginia Commonwealth University where she served as a residential treatment team leader, the Acute Unit senior psychologist, and Coordinator of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services at the Virginia Treatment Center for Children. Dr. Marshall received her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Gallaudet University and her undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin.
